In today’s fast-paced digital world, short-form videos are the key to grabbing attention and connecting with your audience. Platforms like Instagram Reels and TikTok have revolutionised the way we consume content—and they’re not just a trend. They’re a powerful tool for businesses and creators alike to showcase their message, build a community, and drive results. Reels can captivate an audience and elevate a profile with clips as short as 15 seconds!
Having a reel alongside a photoshoot is a great way to maximise time and resources for a shoot as well as diversify your content. There are a few options on how I can create reels for you alongside a photoshoot/event.
Using professional cameras and editing to create an impactful, engaging and high quality reel that you can also boost on your feeds. Either myself or bringing along a videographer to maximise time. Great for boosting and using as an ‘ad’
Having a videographer alongside myself to film content in a ‘behind the scenes’ style on professional cameras and cut that alongside the photos from the shoot.
A similar more budget friendly option to above, but instead of a professional camera, bringing along a content creator OR using someone in your own team in house that uses a top range phone, to create phone behind the scenes content to edit on it’s own and / or to cut to photos from the shoot, using the behind the scenes content as the ‘hook’ and the photos as the ‘reveal’.
There are also options for retaining footage/footage only shoots where someone in house can edit reels at a later date and you can add to your content bank. These options include:
LOG footage - best for those who have colour grading experience and compatible software for viewing and editing LOG footage. Straight card transfer on the day.
LOG converted to MP4 - we will colour grade the footage and re export in a more friendlier MP4 format for you to use on desktop/mobile apps. Delivered via Dropbox or similar.
Shooting in MP4 - straight card transfer on the day
iPhone / Samsung mobile footage, delivered on the day either via AirDrop or transfer. Very handy for stories or organic looking content.
